Description
Fascinating wine with intense aromatics of strawberries and cream adjacent to banana bread with hints of apricot and a light mesquite. The wine has bright acidity with flavors of devil’s food cake and vanilla pudding. The light red color from the pale grape skin provides an ethereal backdrop to the balanced tannins of this unique noble grape transplanted from Italy to a remote region of California. Crafted from grapes that ripen late in the coastal-influenced continental climate of the valley, this wine beautifully expresses the uniqueness of Humboldt County climate and soil.
